Welcome to DisciplePair. By using our service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DisciplePair ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

DisciplePair is a platform that facilitates one-on-one discipleship relationships for individuals and churches. The Service includes tools for pairing mentors and mentees, curriculum management, progress tracking, messaging, and accountability features.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Distribute spam or malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than personal or organizational discipleship

5. Church Accounts

Churches may create organizational accounts to manage discipleship programs. Church administrators are responsible for:

  • Ensuring their members comply with these Terms
  • Managing access and permissions appropriately
  • Maintaining accurate billing information for paid plans
  • Obtaining necessary consents for adding members to the platform

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you create on the Service (journal entries, messages, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Our Content: The Service and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by DisciplePair and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Curriculum: Curriculum content provided by DisciplePair is licensed for use within the Service only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our curriculum without written permission.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

DisciplePair is a tool to facilitate discipleship relationships. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcomes of any discipleship relationships formed through the Service. Churches and individuals are responsible for their own safeguarding policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DisciplePair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
