Making Disciples, One Pair at a Time

We're building the tool we wish existed for the most important thing the church does.

Our Mission

Before Jesus ascended, He gave one final command: "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Not "run great programs" or "fill pews" — make disciples. One relationship at a time.

But here's the problem: most churches don't have a clear system for discipleship. Pastors know it's important. Members want to grow. But between the Sunday service and small groups, there's a gap — and that gap is where one-on-one discipleship should live.

DisciplePair fills that gap. Simple tools for pairing people, curriculum that guides real conversations, and accountability that keeps pairs meeting week after week.

Because the Great Commission wasn't meant to be completed by professionals. It was meant for ordinary believers walking with other ordinary believers toward Jesus.

Our Convictions

We believe Jesus is Lord.

Fully God and fully man — the eternal Son who took on flesh, lived among us, died for sinners, rose from the dead, and reigns now at the Father's right hand. He is coming again. "Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name" (Philippians 2:9). Everything we build exists to help people know Him and follow Him.

We believe God's Word is enough.

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). Not supplements, not our opinions, not the latest trends — Scripture. Every curriculum we offer is rooted in the text itself. The Bible doesn't need our help. It needs faithful people to read it together.

We believe salvation belongs to God.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). We provide tools, but transformation comes from the Spirit working through His Word. We're not selling a method. He saves sinners. We just help them walk together.

We believe in the local church.

"Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood" (Acts 20:28). The body of Christ, purchased by His blood. DisciplePair exists to serve churches, not replace them. Pastors, elders, and faithful believers have been making disciples for 2,000 years. We're building tools for the same mission.

We believe grace changes everything.

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives" (Titus 2:11-12). Discipleship isn't behavior modification. It's the overflow of what Christ has already done. We build for people saved by grace who want to help others experience the same.

Our Approach

How we think about building tools for discipleship.

Relationships Over Programs

"Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another" (Proverbs 27:17). Discipleship happens in relationship, not in curriculum. Our tools serve the relationship, not the other way around.

Everyone Can Disciple

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). You don't need a seminary degree. You need a willing heart and God's Word.

Scripture-Centered

"His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness" (2 Peter 1:3). Every session is rooted in God's Word because the Bible is sufficient.

Multiplication Mindset

"What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also" (2 Timothy 2:2). The goal is disciple-makers who raise up the next generation.

Why We Built This

DisciplePair started from frustration. As church leaders ourselves, we watched discipleship efforts fizzle out year after year. Great intentions, no follow-through. Spreadsheets that got stale. Pairs that met twice and then disappeared.

We tried existing tools — they were either too complex (built for enterprise training) or too simple (glorified contact lists). None of them understood what discipleship actually looks like: two people opening the Bible together, week after week, for a season.

So we built what we wished existed. Simple pairing. Guided curriculum. Gentle accountability. Real visibility for church leaders. And above all, tools that serve the relationship rather than replacing it.

Every piece of curriculum is vetted for doctrinal faithfulness. We're not chasing trends or inventing new methods — we're building on the shoulders of the faithful who came before us. The same truth that transformed Augustine, that fueled the Reformation, that has sustained the church through every age.

We're a small team. If we can help a few more people sit down with an open Bible and walk through it together, week after week, that's enough. Not because of us — but because God's Word does what it promises. "So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty" (Isaiah 55:11).
